Yes, you may have seen the movie with Kurt Russell, but this is a real live demonstration of how a backdraft works... A fire was made in a small box then the heat develops enough that the gases catch alight and when you add oxygen by opening the door, it ignights the gases as they pour out of the door! Amazing and scary stuff..
