When we were in Tasmania, the whole wintering team undertook various training courses. The fire training though, has all of us training together because in the event of a fire on station, we are all responsible for the firefighting. The training was arduous but lots of fun as well. In this photo I am wearing my Breathing Apparatus and getting ready to go inside a mocked up building - but with very real (and hot) fire! Talk about exciting!
