A bonus of living by the coast at Casey Station is that of an evening it is possible to go out on the inflatable rubber boats (IRB's) and take a berg cruise. Basically this means heading out to the berg parking area and getting up close and personal with them in the setting sun's light. It is by far one of my favourite things to do around station. The feeling of being that close to icebergs is unparalleled by anything i have ever done before. I continue to live in awe of this amazing continent and what it dishes out on a daily basis. I am very lucky.
