When i knew that i was coming down here for a year, i thought to myself, "i wonder what i can do to occupy my time?" I thought about it and came up with knitting. Now, i've never really knitted or crocheted, and didn't really know anything about it, but i bought wool, books and needles and have bumbled through with some cool results. I am really happy so far with my results. Truthfully, most of my wool has become beanies through Vicki's hard work, but the three that i have made make me extremely proud. It is a good thing i have this new skill as it seems i'm going to be making lots of baby booties because half the people i know back at home have announced they're pregnant since i've been down here!!
