Wacky Car racers
Well, with midwinter done and dusted - recovery's made, it was time to get back into making our own entertainment of a Friday night. Our Building services supervisor (a chippy) came up with an idea to give everyone a lucky dip pillow slip that contained timber, axles, and wheels to make a racing car. The races were to be held on the new mezzanine floor of the greenstore - kind of like a grand opening! It was so much fun. As soon as i took my timber out of the bag i knew mine had to be in the shape of a train. In the first race i had Kevin the stunt driving teddy at the wheel, but in the subsequent heats i decided that i must shed the weight if I was to be in with a real chance. At the end of the day, mine was third fastest in the final! So much fun, and it yet again makes me realise how much fun you can have just with a little bit of imagination.
