This is perhaps only interesting to an electricity nerd like myself. This picture shows a heat mat that is woven with heat trace. The location of this mat is in the air intake plenum chamber of a ventilation duct. This is put here to melt any snow that is sucked into the chamber during a blizzard. They just think of everything around here! Constantly amazed!
